Started a organization in 2008, called DoshiroutoKobō, to build stores through volunteers.  At the present time, we have 215 registered volunteers and as of 2022, helped built 102 stores. 

 

Self-learned how the financial world works from the time of the Lehman Shock. As I was doing this, it led to learning history also. I realized that every time there was a major change in any time period, there was some happening, that instigated that change. I came to the conclusion that Artificial Intelligent (AI) will change the way humans would value things and fundamentally change our way of thinking. 

 

Due to the speed information flows in our present world and because of the use of AI and robots, there will come a time when human intelligence will not be able to keep up with the changes in the world. Because of this, I realized that even the speed in which we connect with like-minded people must be much quicker and stronger. 

 

To connect these like-minded people at a virtual reality level, I started a DIY volunteer non-profit organization called Do-shirouto Kobō in 2008 with an aim of creating 100 stores. With the philosophy of  “ creating with people and materials”, to this date we have helped construct 109 stores. 

 

At the present time, I am running both a business and doing volunteer work through the DIY company, Hammer Man’s Style Co., Ltd. Our company has always been run with the key phrase of “ bringing smiles to people’s face”.

Q: How long have you been creating this artwork?

 I conceived the idea in 2015 and began creating it in 2017.

Q: Why are you passionate about this craft?

 

 The world is filled with countless surprises, and every country has its own true history, culture, and customs. There are reasons why certain events unfold as they do in each nation. As I came to understand these reasons, I found myself unable to express the scenes of those times in words. It was when I felt a surge of emotion, intuition, and ideas deep within me that the images I wanted to express took shape—and they manifested in gears and pulleys. I realized that everything in this world is interconnected, but expressing that interconnectedness in words proved to be challenging. So, I decided to use gears and pulleys as my medium of expression. Gears and pulleys have been crucial from ancient times through the present day and will remain so in the future. However, their primary roles have been to enhance efficiency and convenience in production. Despite their importance in our lives, most people rarely take notice of them. To me, the entanglement of gears and pulleys symbolizes the entanglement of the world. I believe they are the best way for me to express this idea. Each gear and pulley has its own purpose, significance, and necessity. By connecting them, I can convey a new worldview to those who observe my work.

By combining old materials with new ones to create a single piece of art, I aim to inspire viewers to perceive a world shaped by their own interpretation, allowing their minds to experience a fresh and unique space.

Q: What are your goals as an artist?

​

 Through this art, I aim to express the emotions and insights I have gained from exploring various global issues and histories. My goal is not just to show the work to the viewer’s eyes but to make them feel and perceive it within their minds.

2008年のリーマンショックをきっかけに、金融の仕組みと世界史を独学。これまで時代の大きな変化があるときは、必ずきっかけになる技術革新と人の価値観の大変化があり近未来にパラダイムの変化があると予測する。　AI・AGI（人工知能・超知能）が人間の価値観を変え、世界のパラダイムシフトが根本から変えていくのではないかという結論に至り2008年ボランティアによる店舗や住宅改装100件を目的とした慈善個人活動として「ド素人工房」を立ち上げる。

 

現代の世の中は情報の流れが光速のように速く、AIやロボットの進化で、人間の知能では世の中の変化についていけなくなる時期が来るのではないか、同じ志を持つ人達と繋がるスピードさえ最も速く、強くなければならないコミュニティーが重要と考え、

2008年【人とモノで何かを創つくる】を理念のもと、現在まで現場に関わったボランティア数は215名以上、2024年109店舗の改装建築のデザインから施工までを手掛ける

2015年 / 2016年　ニューヨーク国連サミットにてネクサス財団より招待される
2015年～2019年　フィリピン・マニラにて日本式DIYが海外でどこまで使えるか現地検証に向かう。100人以上の現地フィリピン人スタッフと共にトランプ・タワー（マニラ) / グランド・ハイアット・コンドミニアム（マニラ）など/のインテリアデザインと制作、施工に携わる。​
